How does FluffyAir™ work?

FluffyAir™ pulls air directly from the litter corner using a built-in fan. It passes through two activated carbon filters that absorb odour molecules, a central HEPA filter that traps dust, hair and allergens, and releases negative ions that break down what's left in the air. How is FluffyAir™ different from ion-only odour devices?
